Despite its pleasant appearance with its silky plastic, soft curves, dual focal lengths, and built-in electronic flash, the Awax TM 35 is a low-end camera, as evidenced by the absence of maximum aperture indication on the lens.
A small hole next to the viewfinder purports to be a light meter, but the lack of sensitivity adjustment casts doubt on the presence of a light meter. It is a fixed focus, dual focal length camera. Switching between focal lengths (35mm and 53mm) is done by pressing a button; the lens then advances one centimeter and two additional lenses are placed behind the lens and the viewfinder. The lenses retract when the lens is pushed back into the wide-angle position.
It is likely made in China, but no country of manufacture is indicated.
The AWAX brand has not been registered in France.
